]]>Joe Thompson Cravens Is the President of Cravens & Noll, P.C. in Richmond where he practices in the areas of personal injury, criminal law, domestic relations and military law. Mr. Cravens received his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree from the College of William & Mary. Commissioned an officer in the United States Army, 1984, Commissioned a United States Army Judge Advocate (JAG) 1987. Veteran of “Operation Just Cause”, Panama, December 1989-February 1990. “Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm”, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait, August 1990 – May 1991.
He is a past adjunct professor at Nova University and has spoken on law of war to service members, pre-deployment and reservists. Mr. Cravens is a member of the Virginia State Bar, and the bars of the U.S. Court of Claims, the U.S. Court of Military Review, the U.S. Court of Military Appeals, the U.S. 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, The American Association for Justice, the Richmond, Chesterfield/Colonial Heights, Henrico County, and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Cravens is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is an organization of attorneys who have received verdicts or settlements in excess of $1,000,000.00. Less than 1% of all trial lawyers in America qualify for membership.
In 2023, Mr. Cravens was once again selected as a Top 100 National Trial Lawyer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Tameka W. Robinson, Esquire is a resident of Richmond, Virginia but originates from Upstate New York. She graduated from Mary Baldwin College, in Staunton, Virginia, where she received her Bachelor’s in Asian Studies, with an emphasis in Japanese and a minor in Leadership Studies. During her four years at Mary Baldwin, Tameka was also a cadet in the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership (VWIL). During her tenure in VWIL, she held various leadership positions in both the class and regimental systems. After college, Tameka moved to Richmond where she has worked with the Office of the Attorney General , the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Office of the Executive Secretary. After working for a few years, Tameka enrolled in Widener University Commonwealth Law School, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she obtained her juris doctorate degree, with a certificate in Trial Advocacy.
During her time at Widener Law, she served as a member of the Public Interest Law Society, Black Law Students Association and Trial Advocacy Honor Society. She was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. While attending law school, Tameka completed a significant amount pro bono work for Central Pennsylvania Civil Law Clinics, earning a pro bono distinction at graduation. Also while attending law school, Tameka continued employment with the Office of the Executive Secretary.
Following law school, she continued to work for the Office of the Executive Secretary and then became an associate at the law firm of Cravens & Noll, P.C. in Chesterfield, Virginia. Tameka is currently a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Pennsylvania State Bar, the United States District Court Eastern District of Virginia, the Virginia Women Attorneys Association and the American Bar Association. She also lectures and speaks on leadership and being a minority in both the legal and criminal justice fields. Tameka is also a member of the Legacy Internet Radio family, where she provides monthly discussions on various legal topics and issues affecting the community. Tameka prides herself in her passion for equal access to justice and juvenile justice issues. Her passion for law, dedication to clients and hard work continually drives her work not only with Cravens & Noll P.C., but also in the community as a whole.
When Tameka is not in the office she can be found participating in various community service events, cheering for the Yankees, Giants, Knicks or Syracuse, engaged in church functions, attempting to keep up with an adventurous family or just traveling wherever the road may lead.

]]>Kent Benninger is a resident of Richmond, Virginia but is originally from Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors in government and a minor in psychology. After undergrad Kent continued on at Liberty and went to law school there.
Graduating in 2016, he moved to Richmond for a job with United Lex Corporation before starting his own solo practice in town where he practiced criminal law and also served as a GAL. Then, in 2019 he took the offer to work at Cravens and Noll. Outside of law, Kent stays active by going to the gym regularly and playing volleyball in the local RVC league.
In 2023, Kent was named a Top 40 under 40 attorney in the state of Virginia by The National Trial Lawyers.

]]>Lauren is an associate at Cravens & Noll and was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2023. Lauren grew up in Richmond, Virginia and attended Trinity Episcopal Highschool.
Lauren graduated from Virginia Tech in 2018 and majored in International Studies with a focus of World Politics and Policy, a double major in Spanish, and a minor in Geography. Lauren then continued her studies at University of Kentucky College of Law. During her time at University of Kentucky College of Law she was on the executive board for all three years as an officer of the Latino Law Student Association. Lauren was also a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and participated on the Trial Advocacy Board State Competition Team in 2020.
Lauren began her legal career at Cravens & Noll during law school as an intern doing paralegal work.
Lauren’s areas of practice are Family Law, Criminal Law, Estate Planning, and Personal Injury.
Lauren worked as the lead legal assistant and then as an associate attorney with David Noll on a large pro bono project of Cravens & Noll for the Henrico Police Department drafting over 200 Estate Packages for the officers to include wills, power of attorneys, and advance medical directives.
